CRITICAL CARE/ICU

Dr. Coetser will be able to manage critically ill patients in the ICU setting, including those that present with the following medical emergencies:

Acute respiratory failure, requiring assisted ventilation
Myocardial infarction
Stroke
Pulmonary embolism
Shock due to low blood pressure
Sepsis
Diabetic medical emergencies, e.g. diabetic ketoacidosis
Acute kidney failure
